“North Americans are increasingly dissatisfied with the quick-fix, disassociation approach of Western medicine.  We are beginning to see that it is better to be pro-active regarding the maintenance of our health than to wait and try and cure disease.  I believe that our physical health, emotions, mental state, spiritual happiness, environment, family, work situations even the air we breathe contribute and are connected to our state of wellbeing.  In North America we seem to hand over complete responsibility of our health to doctor’s, it’s imperative that our society understands that our state of health is half the doctor’s job and half the individual’s.  Medicine should not be approached with a “one shoe fits all” attitude; I want to work with the individual to find the best treatment for their particular lifestyle.” – Danielle Caruk, DTCM, RAc

“The doctor of the future will give no medication, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, diet and in the cause and prevention of disease” – Thomas Edison
